Vermillion County, IN – Eastbound traffic on I-74 has been reduced to one lane near the Illinois state line as crews work to remove a semi-truck involved in a fire last night.
According to the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office, emergency responders were called to the scene late Thursday night. The semi caught fire along the eastbound lanes, forcing the temporary closure of the highway. Crews battled the blaze for hours before extinguishing it.
