Noblesville, IN – A Chihuahua was reunited with its owner following a semi-truck accident earlier today. The dog, Twinkie, disappeared after the vehicle rolled over, sparking an urgent search.
Noblesville Fire Department responded to the scene of the crash and learned that Twinkie had run off. The Hamilton County Emergency Management team joined the search effort, deploying drones to cover a 3-square-mile area. After hours of canvassing, crews located the missing Chihuahua in a nearby field.
The fire department praised the coordinated effort, highlighting the use of drone technology in locating Twinkie. Both the dog and its owner were reunited unharmed.
The cause of the semi-truck accident is still under investigation. Emergency responders reported no injuries.
