BOURBONNAIS, Ill. — The Bourbonnais Township Park District is once again gearing up for its annual Turkey Trot, a Thanksgiving tradition that continues to draw families and fitness enthusiasts alike. This year marks the 11th edition of the event, which will take place on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Perry Farm Park.

Participants can choose from a 5K, 10K, or a 2-mile walk, offering options for all fitness levels. The races will wind through the scenic trails of Perry Farm Park, providing a picturesque backdrop for this community-favorite event.

Prizes will be awarded to winners in various age divisions, making it a competitive yet fun experience for all ages. Whether you’re looking to set a personal best or just enjoy a leisurely walk before the Thanksgiving festivities, the Turkey Trot is a perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

The event is sponsored by local businesses, including SportClips, Oak Orthopedics, Peoples Bank of Kankakee County, Riverside Orthopedic and Spine Center, CSL Behring, and Toyota of Bourbonnais.
