Gilman, IL – A semi-truck rollover early Thursday has shut down the southbound entrance ramp to Interstate 57 from Gilman, prompting a traffic advisory from state police.
According to Illinois State Police Troop 5, troopers responded to the scene Thursday morning following the report of a semi-truck that had rolled over while attempting to enter I-57 southbound from Gilman. Authorities have not released details about injuries or the cause of the crash at this time.
The entrance ramp is expected to remain closed for several hours as emergency crews work to remove the vehicle and investigate the scene. Drivers are urged to seek alternate routes and avoid the area to prevent additional delays.
