Morris, IL — A body found Friday evening in a tree line near Twilight Drive has been identified as Alison Findley, a 62-year-old Morris resident. Findley was last seen on Monday, August 26, leaving her home. She was reported missing on Friday, August 30.
A local resident discovered Findley’s body while walking her dog in the 900 block of Twilight Drive. She immediately called the police. Detectives quickly arrived at the scene, and the Grundy County Coroner’s Office later transported Findley’s body for an autopsy.
The autopsy confirmed Findley’s identity, but additional forensic tests and toxicology results are needed to determine the official cause of death. According to the Morris Police Department, the investigation is ongoing, with many questions still unanswered.
