Lincoln, DE — A Delaware woman died Monday following a fatal shooting in Lincoln, where authorities have arrested the suspect. On Sunday, September 8, troopers responded to a call about a shooting in the 23000 block of Deep Creek Drive.
Authorities identified the suspect as Nicholas Mosley, who allegedly fled the scene in a vehicle. Troopers found two victims: 43-year-old Denise Mosley and a 20-year-old man, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers administered lifesaving measures until EMS arrived. The victims were taken to an area hospital.
According to the Delaware State Police, Denise Mosley was admitted in critical condition and later died on Monday from her injuries. The 20-year-old victim was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Nicholas Mosley was taken into custody and remains at Sussex Correctional Institution. Investigators are still working on the case, with additional charges pending. Authorities urge anyone with information to contact Detective D. Grassi at the Delaware State Police.
