Odessa, TX – A tragic accident claimed the life of a 15-year-old girl late Monday night in Odessa. The incident occurred around 10:33 p.m. near the intersection of E. Loop 338 and 87th Street when the Odessa Police Department (OPD) responded to a major accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
According to the Odessa Police, a gray Dodge Ram was traveling south in the 8100 block of NE Loop 338 when it struck the young girl, who was walking in the roadway. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities later identified the victim as a 15-year-old female from Odessa. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of extended family.
