Kalamazoo, MI – Eastbound I-94 is facing major delays due to multiple accidents just east of the Kalamazoo/Calhoun County line near exit 92. The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office issued a traffic alert at 1:45 p.m., urging drivers to seek alternate routes. The accidents have caused sudden stops and significant traffic congestion.

According to the sheriff’s office, the recommended emergency route is East MN Avenue to Mercury Drive, then to Columbia Avenue and Helmer Road. These roads offer a detour around the most congested sections of I-94. Authorities warn of extended delays as crews work to clear the incidents.
