Cass County, MI – A 65-year-old Dowagiac woman sustained injuries after her vehicle rolled over in a crash late Tuesday in Howard Township. The crash occurred near M-51 and Maple Lane.
Valerie Norman was driving northbound when her vehicle veered off the road. Her car rolled over, coming to a stop on its roof. Emergency responders transported her to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital for injuries related to the crash.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office reports that the accident happened at approximately 9:10 p.m. According to Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, Norman was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, and alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors.
The investigation is still ongoing.
