Davidson County, NC – Three Lexington residents were arrested Wednesday following a traffic stop along Highway 64 near County Home Road, according to local authorities.
According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, detectives with the T.R.A.C.E. Team initiated the stop on April 22, 2026, involving a 2002 Ford Mustang for a traffic violation. During the stop, investigators allegedly discovered cocaine and drug paraphernalia, leading to multiple arrests at the scene.
The driver, identified as Hank Wade Lanier, 55, of Lexington, was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a vehicle to store a controlled substance. He was also cited for expired registration. Lanier was booked into the Davidson County Jail and is being held without bond due to a pre-trial hold.
Two passengers were also taken into custody. Deanna Frank, 31, of Lexington, was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $2,000 secured bond. Megan Shea Lanier, 32, also of Lexington, faces similar charges and is being held without bond under a pre-trial hold.
All three individuals are scheduled to appear in Davidson County Court in April 2026. According to North Carolina law, bond conditions are set by judicial officials, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
