Gunnison, CO – Residents in the Upper Gunnison River Valley should prepare for a dangerous cold spell as temperatures plunge to life-threatening lows. The National Weather Service has issued multiple advisories spanning Saturday night through Tuesday morning.

Another advisory is set for Sunday night into Monday morning, forecasting lows near -25°F. An Extreme Cold Watch will follow Monday evening, where temperatures could reach a staggering -40°F.
