Oswego, IL – Oswego Police arrested a 30-year-old man Thursday after a suspicious incident at Fox Chase Elementary School. The man allegedly followed a parent into the school but refused to answer staff questions. School staff prevented him from entering a secure area, and the man left the building.
According to the Oswego Police Department, officers were called around 9:30 a.m. The suspect, identified as Jesus F. Rosas-Bailon of Aurora, left the area. Police used license plate readers to locate Rosas-Bailon at his home, where he was taken into custody at approximately 11:30 a.m. without incident.
Rosas-Bailon was charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing from all schools in District 308. He was released on recognizance and transported to a hospital for evaluation. Rosas-Bailon has a pending court date set for November 5, 2024.
