Peoria, IL – A 17-year-old was arrested Wednesday in connection with an armed robbery in Peoria.
Peoria Police officers apprehended the juvenile in the 100 block of South McReynolds Court around 4:23 p.m. According to the Peoria Police Department, the teen was wanted in connection with two armed robbery counts. The Special Investigations Division (SID) observed the suspect, who was taken into custody without incident.
Following his arrest, the suspect was transported to the Peoria Police Department for questioning. Officials then charged him with two counts of armed robbery and transferred him to the Juvenile Detention Center.
