Atlanta 7-Day Forecast May 13-20: Dry Weather and Summerlike Heat Ahead

Atlanta, GA – A long stretch of sunny and increasingly warm weather is expected across metro Atlanta and much of north Georgia through next week, with temperatures climbing close to 90 degrees by early next week.

According to the National Weather Service, Wednesday will bring sunny skies and pleasant spring conditions with highs near 80 degrees across the Atlanta metro area. Winds will remain relatively light throughout the day, creating favorable conditions for outdoor activities and travel.

Forecasters say dry conditions will continue Wednesday night into Thursday as cooler overnight temperatures dip into the 50s. Thursday is expected to stay sunny with highs near 75 degrees and occasional northwest wind gusts approaching 20 mph during the afternoon.

The warming trend strengthens Friday as temperatures rise back into the lower 80s under sunny skies. By Saturday, highs are expected to climb into the upper 80s across parts of Fulton, DeKalb, and Cobb counties.

Summerlike heat builds even further Sunday through Tuesday. High temperatures are forecast to reach near 89 degrees Sunday, around 90 degrees Monday, and remain in the upper 80s Tuesday with mostly sunny skies continuing across the region.

No significant rain chances are currently expected through the extended forecast period, allowing for several consecutive days of dry weather across north Georgia.
