Adams County Shooting Leaves Two Juveniles Wounded, Investigation Ongoing

Adams County, WA — Two juveniles were injured in a gang-related shooting late last night near the intersection of Taylor and Spur Roads. Deputies responded around 11:30 p.m. after receiving reports of two gunshot victims.

According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, the first victim, a 17-year-old male, was dropped off at Othello Community Hospital with a gunshot wound to his calf. While deputies were investigating, a second victim, a 14-year-old male, arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds to his left hand and forearm.

Both teens told authorities that while they were at Taylor and Spur Roads, a vehicle approached. The occupants reportedly flashed gang signs and yelled before firing approximately 10 shots. The suspect vehicle remains unidentified.

Deputies collected evidence at the scene. Fortunately, neither juvenile’s injuries were life-threatening, and both were later released from the hospital. Authorities continue their investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact the Adams County Sheriff’s Office at 509-659-1122.
