Parke County, Indiana – A man is in custody after deputies say he allegedly targeted a Parke County business multiple times, culminating in an arrest early Monday morning near Bellmore.
According to the Parke County Sheriff’s Office, deputies began investigating a reported burglary on Wednesday at Eagle Line Home Solutions, located near the intersection of Seip Road and U.S. 36, west of Bellmore in Parke County, near the Terre Haute metro area. Authorities say the investigation revealed the suspect had allegedly burglarized the business on multiple occasions over a period of time, prompting further surveillance.
Deputies reported that at approximately 3:19 a.m. Monday, they observed a man allegedly attempting to gain entry into the building again. He was taken into custody at the scene without incident.
The suspect was identified as Duncan M. MacLeod, 36, of Danville, Illinois. According to police, MacLeod was arrested on a burglary charge and is currently being held without bond. Officials emphasized that the investigation remains ongoing, and additional charges could be considered as more information becomes available.
