Burglary Shock at Lewis University-Owned Residence: Police Seek Leads

ROMEOVILLE, IL – Lewis University Police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred on Halloween night. 

According to reports a university-owned house in the 14000 block of S. Independence Blvd, situated north of the main campus in Romeoville was targeted. An intruder reportedly forced their way into the home and was discovered by residents upon their return to the building.

With the Will County Sheriff’s Police lending their expertise in evidence processing, the LUPD is spearheading the probe, urging anyone with information to come forward.
