Gaylord, MI – A powerful winter storm is sweeping across Northern Michigan, bringing heavy snow, gusty winds, and hazardous travel conditions through Saturday morning. Drivers are urged to avoid unnecessary travel as visibility is expected to drop rapidly on roadways, including US-131.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), a Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 4 a.m. Saturday. Snow accumulations between 5 to 9 inches are expected, with some areas seeing even higher totals.
