Florida Man Arrested for Allegedly Stealing $67K in iPhones from UPS

Hollywood, FL – A Florida man is facing charges after Broward County detectives arrested him for allegedly stealing iPhones and electronics worth over $67,000 from UPS shipments.

Brandon St. Gerard, a UPS employee, is accused of taking merchandise from the company’s Hollywood facility. Detectives began investigating after UPS flagged the missing items, suspecting St. Gerard of retrieving packages and placing them in his vehicle.

On Oct. 3, detectives stopped St. Gerard’s vehicle and allegedly found dozens of iPhones, AirPods, an Apple Watch, and other electronics inside. According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, St. Gerard confessed to stealing the items.

St. Gerard has been charged with grand theft and was transported to the Broward County Main Jail. Authorities continue to investigate his actions, as they believe he may have taken goods on multiple occasions.
