Lombard, Ill. — The Village of Lombard Government released an update on construction progress to the Yorktown Center. The update includes a video with aerial view of the new apartments and an interactive online tool outlining the development stages and future plans for the area.
Developments at the Yorktown Center include the Yorktown Reserve luxury apartments. The first phase of the project includes 271 units. Over two phases, there will be approximately 600 units available. Lombard noted that construction is moving at a rapid pace, with leasing anticipated to begin in the spring of 2026. A drone video was released by the district with aerial view of the construction site.
Along with the apartments, the Yorktown Center will include the new Summit at Yorktown townhomes, which are now under construction. Additionally, the Center will have new retail and dining spaces. The village also plans to develop more green space in the area.
