Mokena, IL – The Village of Mokena has closed northbound Wolf Road at Front Street for road maintenance. The closure began today and is expected to last through tomorrow, September 12, as crews repair the concrete.
According to the Mokena Police Department, a steel plate will be used to cover the repair as the concrete cures. Officials encourage drivers to plan alternative routes and follow posted detour signs to avoid the area.
The village apologized for any inconvenience this roadwork may cause and emphasized its commitment to improving the town’s infrastructure. Drivers are urged to exercise caution in the area until the repairs are complete.
