Milwaukee, WI – Wisconsin residents should prepare for widespread showers and thunderstorms from Wednesday night through Thursday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Milwaukee/Sullivan. Today, however, there’s only a small chance of isolated showers in east central Wisconsin, with partly cloudy skies and light, variable winds dominating the rest of the state. Highs are expected to range from 78 to 84 degrees, with lows between 57 and 62 degrees.

Rain chances will increase on Wednesday night, with a 60-80% chance of storms by Thursday. Temperatures will cool slightly, with highs between 74 and 79 degrees and lows dipping to 65-68 degrees. The heaviest rainfall is anticipated on Thursday, marking it as the day with the best chance for rain this week.

By Friday, the weather system will start to clear, but there’s still a 10-20% chance of lingering showers. Highs will stay in the mid-70s to low 80s, and lows will range from 60 to 65 degrees.

The NWS advises residents to stay updated on the latest weather alerts, as these storms could bring localized flooding and strong winds.
