La Crosse, WI – Residents in Wisconsin should prepare for potentially severe weather starting Monday evening. The National Weather Service has issued a warning for scattered severe thunderstorms that could impact the region through Tuesday morning. This weather system brings with it the threat of damaging winds and large hail.

According to the National Weather Service, the risk of thunderstorms is highest Monday night, with a 30 to 50 percent chance of severe conditions. Locally heavy rainfall may also occur in some areas, although the exact details remain uncertain. The weather service advises residents to stay alert and have multiple ways to receive weather warnings.

Tuesday’s forecast continues with high temperatures near 89°F, under partly cloudy skies. By Wednesday, conditions are expected to improve slightly, with temperatures dropping to around 83°F and less storm activity. Thursday could see some showers, with a 45% chance of rain, but the weather will clear up again by Friday and Saturday, with sunny skies and cooler temperatures ranging from the mid-60s to the low-80s.
