Elko, NV – A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Northern Nevada, including Elko, White Pine, and Eureka counties. The advisory is active until 10 a.m. Wednesday, with up to 4 inches of snow expected in the affected regions.

According to the National Weather Service, the snowfall will begin Tuesday at 4 p.m., with hazardous road conditions expected during the evening and Wednesday morning commutes. Areas like the Ruby Mountains, Diamond Valley, and Pinto Summit are forecast to see significant snow accumulation.

Officials warn drivers to anticipate slippery roads and limited visibility. Commuters are encouraged to reduce speeds and maintain caution while traveling. State road conditions can be accessed by dialing 511.
