Windham, NH – A serious crash on Interstate 93 in Windham, New Hampshire, left one man with significant injuries. The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 16th, 2025, around 9:21 a.m., when a 2024 silver Jeep Compass collided with a yellow 2015 Peterbilt tractor-trailer.
The driver of the Jeep, whose name has not been released, reportedly drove off the road to the left, striking the tractor-trailer before hitting an embankment. The impact caused severe injuries to the driver of the Jeep, who was later airlifted by medical helicopter to a Massachusetts hospital for treatment. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured.
Troopers from the New Hampshire State Police Troop B barracks were on the scene, alongside members of the Windham Fire Department and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation. The accident led to the closure of multiple southbound lanes on I-93, resulting in significant traffic delays for approximately three hours.
