Will County, IL – The long-awaited Route 59 and Interstate 55 interchange in Will County will officially open to the public Monday. A ribbon-cutting ceremony, scheduled for 10:30 a.m., will mark the event, welcoming local residents and officials.
US Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth will attend, among other dignitaries, to celebrate the completion of this critical infrastructure project. The new interchange is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve safety for the thousands of commuters who use these roads daily.
