Will County Bar Shooting Injures Three; Joliet Police Investigating Gunfire

Joliet, IL – A shooting at Eden’s Bar and Grill in Will County injured three people early Sunday morning. Joliet police responded to the report of gunfire at 1:25 a.m. at the bar located at 926 Gardner Avenue. Officers arrived and found three victims with gunshot wounds inside the establishment.

According to the Joliet Police Department, a 29-year-old man was shot three times in the lower body. A 31-year-old woman was struck in the ankle, while a 25-year-old woman sustained a leg wound. All injuries are non-life-threatening. Paramedics transported the male victim and the 25-year-old woman to Silver Cross Hospital, while the other female was taken to Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center.

Investigators believe the shots were fired from outside, with bullets entering the bar. Officers recovered spent shell casings near the establishment.

The investigation remains ongoing.
