Cities including Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Jamestown, and Dunkirk are expected to remain largely dry today, while locations such as Watertown and areas farther east could see occasional showers. Drivers should remain alert for wet roads where rain persists, especially along portions of Interstate 81 and nearby highways.
Friday brings mostly sunny skies across the region with warmer temperatures climbing into the 77 to 83 degree range. Dry weather should provide favorable conditions for travel, outdoor work, and summer recreation throughout western and much of central New York.
Saturday remains mainly dry with highs reaching 79 to 84 degrees, although an isolated afternoon thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. Most communities will stay rain-free, but anyone with outdoor plans should monitor the sky during the afternoon for any pop-up development.
