Grand Rapids, MI – Additional heavy rain is expected across Western Michigan today, with 2 to 4 inches of rainfall already recorded as of 5:00 a.m. Wednesday. High temperatures will reach the low to mid-70s, accompanied by an increasing north wind of 10-20 mph, with higher gusts.

According to the US National Weather Service in Grand Rapids, the heavy rainfall and isolated higher amounts have led to ongoing concerns about localized flooding.
