Grand Rapids, MI — Western Michigan residents can expect a shift in weather conditions as the region gears up for a warmer and drier period. The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a 6-10 day outlook, predicting above-average temperatures and below-average precipitation from Saturday through Wednesday.

According to the latest forecast, high temperatures are expected to reach around 80°F, with lows near 60°F. These unseasonably warm conditions will coincide with a significant reduction in rainfall, leading to drier-than-normal weather across the area. This pattern could extend through next week, with little relief in sight for the dry conditions.

The upcoming week will start with mostly sunny skies, with Monday’s temperatures ranging between 71°F and 76°F. North winds will generally be light, but lakeshore areas could see gusts of up to 20 mph. As the week progresses, temperatures are expected to climb, peaking at 88°F by Sunday.
