Arlington, VA – Authorities in Virginia are searching for a 13-year-old girl who went missing Thursday evening in Arlington and is considered at risk.

According to the Virginia State Police, a CODI Alert was issued on behalf of the Arlington County Police Department at 8:15 p.m. Friday after Anabella Clara Santos was last seen on foot near South Langley Street around 5:45 p.m.
Anabella is described as a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said she was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black shorts, green sandals, and white socks. Her hair was reportedly in a ponytail at the time of her disappearance.
The Arlington County Police Department believes her disappearance poses a credible threat to her health and safety, prompting the activation of the CODI (Critical Operation for Disappeared Individuals) Alert system.
Residents in the Arlington area are urged to remain vigilant. Anyone who has seen Anabella or has information about her whereabouts is encouraged to contact Arlington County Police immediately at (703) 558-2222 or visit vsp.virginia.gov/active-alerts.
