Valley City, ND – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Thursday night following a crash on 14th Street Southwest in Valley City.
The rider, identified as T. Morehouse, was traveling westbound around 8:15 p.m. when he lost control of his Harley Davidson near the 800 block. The motorcycle flipped, landing on top of Morehouse in the roadway.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, Morehouse sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was first transported to Mercy Hospital in Valley City and later transferred to Fargo’s Essentia Hospital for further treatment.
Authorities confirmed that Morehouse was not wearing a helmet during the crash. He now faces DUI charges as a result of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
