Peoria, IL – Two men were injured in a shooting Sunday morning on Peoria’s North Shipman Street. Peoria police responded around 10:18 a.m. and discovered an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was immediately transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the Peoria Police Department, officers located two handguns at the scene. A short time later, they received a report of another adult male, also with a gunshot wound, who had arrived at the hospital by private vehicle. His injuries were also non-life-threatening.
Members of the Peoria Police Criminal Investigations Division, Crime Scene Unit, and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and launched an investigation. As of Sunday, no suspect information has been released.
