Friendship, IN – Two riders were seriously injured in a motorcycle crash on Olean Road, Ripley County. The accident occurred around 12:47 p.m. Sunday. The eastbound motorcycle skidded off the roadway and struck two trees.
According to the Friendship Volunteer Fire Department, both riders were transported to the department’s station for emergency airlift. Medical helicopters from St. Vincent StatFlight and Air Methods Bedford Kentucky were dispatched for transport to nearby hospitals. The condition of the riders has not yet been disclosed.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash. The accident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released.
