Milwaukee, WI – A winter storm brought heavy snow across Wisconsin on Wednesday, with Racine seeing the highest totals at 8.5 inches.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Milwaukee, the storm dropped between 3 and 8.5 inches across the region. Racine reported 8.5 inches, while Milwaukee recorded between 7 and 7.6 inches. Madison saw around 3.5 to 5 inches, and Kenosha picked up 6.2 inches.
Southern and southeastern Wisconsin saw the heaviest snowfall, with locations like Union Grove, Cudahy, and West Allis receiving over 7 inches. Meanwhile, Green County recorded up to 6.8 inches, and Jefferson County saw 5 to 5.4 inches.
The snow caused hazardous road conditions and travel delays. Authorities urged drivers to use caution as cleanup efforts continued.
