Conroe, TX – A road rage dispute escalated to gunfire Wednesday on Sawdust Road, leaving one man injured, authorities say. Deputies from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of Sawdust Road, where two men were allegedly involved in a conflict that ended with one firing multiple shots at the other’s vehicle.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, one man suffered a grazing wound to his ear. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies confirmed that both individuals involved in the incident have been located and are cooperating with the investigation.
Authorities emphasized that this was an isolated incident between the two men, with no additional suspects or victims involved. Detectives are currently interviewing witnesses and reviewing any available video footage that might clarify the incident’s details. The investigation remains active, and officials are withholding the identities of those involved until further notice.
