Nashville, TN – Detectives are investigating a Sunday morning shooting outside an after-hours club on Murfreesboro Pike that left one teenager dead and two others injured.
Police said the incident occurred at 5:30 a.m. outside a club at 981 Murfreesboro Pike. Shots were fired following a heated argument involving people in a car parked nearby. Ashley Dominguez, 18, a rear passenger in the vehicle, was struck, along with two other women, both aged 19.
The driver, realizing the injuries, stopped in a parking lot in the 1300 block of Murfreesboro Pike. Dominguez and the injured women were transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where Dominguez died. The other women received treatment and were released.
Witnesses described the altercation as escalating quickly before the gunfire. According to police, detectives have interviewed multiple witnesses as they pursue leads. The investigation remains active.
