Tampa, FL โ€“ A late-night patrol at Jackson Springs Skate Park led Hillsborough County deputies to a major drug bust early Saturday, December 28, 2025.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriffโ€™s Office, deputies approached a suspicious vehicle parked after hours at the park, located off Sheldon Road. The driver, identified as 26-year-old Santiago Molina, allegedly told deputies he had stopped to make a phone call.

A subsequent search of Molina and his vehicle uncovered several illegal narcotics, including cocaine, ketamine, and MDMA, along with packaging materials, a loaded firearm, and cash. Deputies reported finding additional contraband later during Molinaโ€™s intake at the Orient Road Jail.

Authorities say Molina was arrested and charged with multiple felony offenses, including Armed Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Sell or Deliver, and Introduction of Contraband into a Detention Facility.

The Hillsborough County Sheriffโ€™s Office continues to investigate the source of the seized narcotics.
