Highs are expected to reach 95 degrees in Tallahassee, 97 degrees in Albany, 96 degrees in Dothan, 96 degrees in Valdosta, 96 degrees in Bainbridge, 95 degrees in Perry, and 94 degrees in Panama City, while Apalachicola remains cooler in the upper 80s because of the Gulf breeze. Overnight lows will generally remain in the low to mid-70s, providing only limited overnight cooling.
The combination of prolonged sunshine and increasing heat will create uncomfortable conditions during the afternoon. Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated, spend time in air-conditioned or shaded locations when possible and take frequent breaks if working outdoors.
