St. Louis Police Arrest Two Teens, Recover Four Guns After Car Chase

St. Louis, MO – St. Louis police officers arrested two 16-year-olds after a car chase near South Broadway and Steins yesterday. Three individuals fled from the vehicle, with the driver and a passenger taken into custody.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers recovered four firearms from the scene, including three semi-automatic pistols and an AR pistol. One of the semi-automatic pistols was equipped with a sear switch, making it potentially fully automatic, and had an extended magazine. Additionally, one pistol had a 50-round magazine, while the AR pistol had a 60-round magazine.

The juveniles were transported to the Juvenile Detention Center following their arrest. The police emphasized the dangers posed by such weapons in the hands of minors and the importance of the operation for community safety.
