Detroit, MI – Southeastern Michigan is in for a break from the summer heat as cooler and less humid conditions settle in this weekend. The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac predicts a refreshing change, with temperatures expected to stay in the 70s, making for a comfortable few days.

Today’s high will approach 80°F under partly cloudy skies, with evening lows dropping into the mid-50s, offering a cool, crisp night. Saturday’s forecast suggests even cooler conditions, with highs ranging from 70°F to 75°F and continued low humidity.

While most of the region will stay dry, there’s a low chance of isolated showers, particularly in the Thumb area, over the weekend. Sunday’s weather will follow a similar pattern, with highs in the low 70s and nighttime temperatures falling into the upper 40s to low 50s. Looking ahead to early next week, temperatures will slowly warm up, reaching the low 80s by Monday and Tuesday, but the humidity will remain comfortably low.
