The heat advisory covers all of Southeast Louisiana and Southern Mississippi.
Today’s forecast predicts a high of 98°F with a heat index reaching 112°F. Similar temperatures are expected to persist throughout the week, with highs of 98°F on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Saturday is forecasted to be slightly cooler at 97°F, while Sunday will see temperatures drop to 95°F.
