Miami, FL – South Florida is set for a challenging weekend with a forecast featuring high rain chances and extreme heat. A Heat Advisory is in effect for the region, warning of heat index values ranging from 105 to 110 degrees.

According to the National Weather Service Miami, scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop this afternoon, with the highest chances over southwest Florida. Cities like Naples and Everglades City face a 72% chance of rain, while Immokalee has a 71% probability.

Today’s forecast for Miami predicts a high of 92 degrees with a 55% chance of showers. Saturday’s weather will be even more unsettled, with an 80% chance of rain and a high of 87 degrees. The rain will continue on Sunday with a 60% chance, and temperatures reaching 91 degrees.

The outlook for next week remains wet, with rain chances between 45% and 60% each day. Monday and Tuesday will see highs around 91 degrees, while temperatures will slightly dip to 90 degrees on Wednesday. The rain chances will persist, ensuring a wet start to the week.
