Austin, Texas – A stretch of scattered showers and thunderstorms will move across South-Central Texas from Monday through Wednesday, as cooler temperatures settle into the region tonight.
According to the National Weather Service, low temperatures tonight will range from the upper 40s to low 60s in most areas, with partly cloudy skies. By Monday, the weather turns active again, with chances for isolated to scattered thunderstorms building throughout the week, especially Tuesday and Wednesday. The storms are expected to bring minimal impacts, but isolated heavy rainfall and gusty winds could occur.
In the San Antonio area, overnight lows will dip to around 55°F, while temperatures across Austin could fall as low as 52°F. With the return of moisture, cities like Kerrville, Fredericksburg, and Uvalde will also see cooler nighttime conditions, with temperatures hovering in the mid-50s.
Rain chances increase on Monday and Tuesday, with thunderstorms likely affecting travel in some parts of the region. By Thursday, rain should be more isolated, with a return to mostly clear skies and temperatures climbing back into the 80s.
