San Antonio, TX – South-Central Texas is under an excessive heat warning today, with temperatures expected to reach triple digits across the region. Forecasts indicate some of the hottest temperatures of the week, with highs potentially reaching up to 110°F. The National Weather Service has urged residents to take precautions during this dangerous heatwave.

According to the US National Weather Service in Austin-San Antonio, the excessive heat warning will remain in effect until 9 p.m. on Wednesday.
