Carpentersville, IL – The Carpentersville Police Department is investigating the discovery of a deceased male found early Tuesday morning on the side of Main Street hill, east of Route 31. The body, identified as a white male with dark brown hair in his late 30s or early 40s, was discovered by a passerby around 3:30 a.m. The roadway was temporarily closed for evidence collection but has since reopened.
According to the Carpentersville Police Department, the identity of the man is still unknown. The cause of death remains undetermined, pending the results of a medical examination scheduled for Wednesday. Detectives are actively working to establish the identity of the deceased and the circumstances that led to his presence at the location.
