South Carolina – South Carolina residents will experience another cool, dry day today, mirroring yesterday’s weather. Sunny skies will dominate, with temperatures around 82 degrees in Greenville, slightly below normal for this time of year.

The U.S. National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg predicts a steady rise in temperatures starting Friday. This weekend, expect highs to climb into the mid-80s, reaching up to 88 degrees by Sunday.

The warming trend will intensify next week. Monday kicks off a stretch of summer-like heat, with temperatures hitting 90 degrees. By midweek, the heat will peak, pushing temperatures to a sweltering 94 degrees by Wednesday.

Residents should prepare for the escalating heat by staying hydrated and limiting sun exposure. The rising temperatures will create challenging conditions, particularly toward midweek, when the heat reaches its peak.
