Magnolia, DE – Delaware State Police arrested 35-year-old James Cullen on September 13 in connection with a road rage shooting. The incident occurred on Isaacs Road near Cedar Creek Road on August 28.
Troopers responded around 11:41 a.m. that morning after receiving a call about a road rage incident. Cullen allegedly fired a shot at the victim’s vehicle while driving a Chevrolet Silverado. The victim, who was heading northbound, was unharmed as Cullen fled the scene.
Through their investigation, Troop 4 detectives identified Cullen and obtained an arrest warrant. Cullen turned himself in to authorities at Troop 4 and was charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and reckless endangerment in the first degree.
He was released after posting a $13,000 secured bond. According to the police, the investigation is still ongoing. Authorities urge anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact Delaware State Police or Delaware Crime Stoppers.
