Wheaton, Ill. — The City of Wheaton announced road closures for Cream of Wheaton yesterday, June 2. Cream of Wheaton will take place at Memorial Park and in Downtown Wheaton on Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8. The 2025 Cream of Wheaton is hosted by the Wheaton Park District and Wheaton Chamber of Commerce.
Several roads will be closed due to the events. The Wheaton French Market on Saturday, June 7, will be moved temporarily to Liberty Drive and Reber Street. For the French Market, which runs from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Reber Street will be closed from Liberty Drive to Willow Avenue.
From Monday, June 2, through Sunday, June 8, Liberty Drive will be closed from Wheaton Avenue to Cross Street, including Parking Lots 3, 4, and 5 on Liberty Drive. On Tuesday, June 3 to Sunday, June 8, Karlskoga Avenue will be closed between Wheaton Avenue and Hale Street. From Wednesday, June 4 through Sunday, June 8, Hale Street will be closed from Wesley Street to Seminary Avenue. On Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8, Hale Street will be closed between the alley south of Liberty Drive and Union Avenue.
