Portage, IN – Portage police are asking for public assistance in their investigation into an arson that occurred early Tuesday morning on Willowdale Court. Authorities are particularly seeking witnesses or video surveillance footage from the area.
According to the Portage Police Department, the arson took place at 12:10 a.m. on Tuesday near the 3300 block of Willowdale Court. Police are especially interested in activity around Swanson Road and Lute Road between 11:00 p.m. Monday and 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators are looking for information regarding a gray 2013 Jeep Patriot with a paper license plate seen near the area. Residents are urged to report any suspicious behavior, particularly males loitering near the Swanson Court Apartments.
